Lab.cykelturisme is a tool developed by the Danish Cycling Tourism Association with support from the Danish Outdoor Recreation Fund. The tool aims to make it easy to assess the cycling and hiking friendliness of roads and paths.

Cycling and hiking friendliness is calculated through an analysis of OpenStreetMap, GeoDanmark, and Mastra data. The values are indicative, and we do not guarantee their accuracy. Use of the tool is at your own risk.

If you disagree with a given rating, you are very welcome to leave a comment so we can investigate the stretch more closely.

Route planning

We are working on a feature that will allow you to plan a route based on its suitability for cycling or walking. Until this feature is available, both cycling and walking routes are planned using OpenStreetMap.
